MARCH 18-21, 2004---------
Our second experience with a Bed and Breakfast was with The Inn on Oak Creek in Sedona, Arizona. We were introduced to Sedona by my parents in November 1994. They moved from Los Angeles to Scottsdale, Arizona in November 1993 at the same time that we were moving from Green Bay, Wisconsin to Torrance, California. On our first trip to visit them in Scottsdale, they drove us to Sedona for the day with our niece, Molly, who was attending Arizona State University in Tucson, but was staying with my parents for the Thanksgiving holiday that year.

Sedona was about a two-hour drive from Scottsdale and we were amazed at all the huge cactus growing everywhere along the route. We loved Sedona and thought it was be a great place to vacation someday. We returned to Sedona a few times and after we moved to Las Vegas in 2001, took a trip there in late 2003 and stayed for a couple of days. While there we
discovered a wonderful little B&B located on Oak Creek. We went inside and fell in love with The Inn on Oak Creek. It was an upscale 11-room Bed and Breakfast, with each room decorated differently. We decided it made the perfect place for a family reunion in 2004.

We decided it made the perfect place for a family reunion in 2004.I sent invitations out of all of our children and invited them to join us at the Inn on Oak Creek in March 2004. None of them had been to Sedona before, so we were sure they would love it as
much as we did. Our get-together was wonderful. We booked the Rested Rooster room for us. The children hiked on Saturday afternoon and we enjoyed the Inn's fabulous gourmet breakfast the next morning. All in all, we had a great time in Sedona.

I would most definitely recommend The Inn on Oak Creek to anyone traveling to Sedona. It's a wonderful upscale property with many amenitites, including delicious gourmet food.
